I had a special request to do this piece. I used quilt patterns as the background for my stylized hummingbirds.

This is Jesse's original piece of his Route 66 series done for his one-man show “Oklazona” at Sharlot Hall Museum in 2009. It features his version of a 1949 Studebaker in front of a fictional Big Chief Indian store-with its proud new owners--somewhere along Route 66.

Jesse paints one new Angel each year. This one was done after the tragedies of the fall of 2001 and although he didn't plan it, the symbols in this show the influence...the red cross on her crown, the pointed crown itself, and the stars throughout the piece.

Jesse used a little play on words for this piece. He shows an eagle dancer with traditional wing span and eagle whistle dancing on the moon...and used the famous space quote for the title.

Often requested to do another “pony” piece, Jesse took the Indian Rodeo as inspiration for this. Here is an Indian rodeo entrant who has been selected to carry the pennants into the rodeo arena. Here he is practicing with his horse for that entry, his dogs chasing along side of him.

This is for all the Harley-Davidson riders. As a commission for an owner of a Road-King, this piece shows a rider decked out in his military blue jacket riding his “hog.”
